It is in God’s character to be mysterious. He puts us through hard times that leave us feeling like crap and we just sit there and we don’t understand. But haven’t we loved god for years now. Haven’t we followed him closely. Haven’t we been in awe over his glory. Hasn’t he shown us his love daily!
I know that to be true. So in these times in silence from god. In these times of pain. Let God be your comfort. Let him take your pain and fill you with is spirit, with his love. Let your despiration show you how much he is reaching out to you. Let your pain be his tears he is crying over this broken world. Let your emptyness be his knock unanswered.
True faith is faith that exists when you can’t feel it. True faith knows God is there just as much as he is when you can’t feel it as when you can. God knows what he’s taught you. He knows we’re not strong enough. That’s why he invites us in his holy spirit. He has given us all that we need.
